What we know about the material, written down

Most of what is published about acrylic tube comes from resin makers or from fabricators. Very little of it comes from the people running the extrusion line. These are the answers we give customers on the phone, written out properly — including the parts that are inconvenient for us.

More on the way

Extruded versus cast tube, PMMA against polycarbonate, what to specify for tolerance, whether acrylic can hold fuel, and what a first order from a Chinese extrusion factory actually looks like. If there is something you would rather we answered first, tell us — we would rather write the one you need.
