Custom Plastic Extrusion

Tubes, rods and profiles extruded to your cross-section in PMMA, PC, ABS, ASA and PE. We review the drawing for manufacturability before quoting, because a section that cannot be held in production is cheaper to fix on paper than after tooling is cut.

  • Cross-section drawing — STEP, DWG, DXF or dimensioned PDF
  • Critical dimensions and which tolerances actually matter
  • Material, or the performance you need if you are unsure

  • What the part does and what it assembles to

If you do not have a drawing, a dimensioned sketch or a sample part is enough to start.

Design guidance

Keep wall thickness even

Uneven walls cool at different rates, which is the usual cause of warping and dimensional drift in an extruded section. Where a thick section is unavoidable, we will suggest how to hollow or rib it.

Radius sharp corners

Sharp internal corners concentrate stress and are hard to fill consistently. A small radius usually costs nothing and improves both quality and yield.

Name the tolerances that matter

Tightening every dimension raises cost without improving fit. Tell us which two or three dimensions the assembly actually depends on.

Ask about existing tooling first

If a stock section is close to your requirement, adapting your design to it removes tooling cost and shortens lead time considerably.

Secondary processing

Most buyers would rather receive a finished part than cut and drill it themselves. Anything we do not run in-house is named as such — you will always know who is making your part.
